About the opportunity

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning people and business objectives with key stakeholders and employees for foodpanda. In this role, you will provide People expertise and counsel to management covering a full range of HR disciplines including organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, career development, compensation, and workforce planning.

You will report to the HRBP Manager and work closely with other functions to plan, manage, and deploy the people agenda and programs including workforce planning, culture, and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Implements people strategy  on the assigned vertical and respective business priorities
  • Provide expert HR guidance 
  • Lead projects on productivity, performance,  engagement, and retention in the assigned business priorities 
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the People and Culture Team
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Support management in the preparation of development plans to ensure ready later talents are prepared for future opportunities

 

 


What you need to be successful

Requirements

  • Experience as a People Business Partner for at least 3 years preferably in tech, start-up environment 
  • Experience in handling succession planning and performance improvement strategies
  • Can thrive in an agile and ambiguous environment 
  • Knowledgeable in Philippine Labor Laws and regulations
  • Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision, as required
  • Strong ability to analyze issues, understand group dynamics, and communicate well at all levels; not afraid to respectfully challenge the status quo

  • Exceptional Probing Skills critical thinking skills and stakeholder management
