About the opportunity

Head of Workforce Planning & People Projects 


We are seeking an experienced leader in people strategy and workforce planning to drive our talent and organizational initiatives as we continue to expand globally. In this dynamic role, you will shape and implement workforce planning strategies, ensuring the right talent is in place to fuel our growth. By partnering closely with business leaders, you’ll manage headcount and budget planning, as well as lead key People projects across Europe and APAC. Responsibilities
 
Workforce Planning scope:

  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure we have the right talent in the right place at the right time.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders and leaders to understand workforce needs, collaborate with Finance and People teams on organizational design, headcount, and budget planning, and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and provide insights that inform business decisions.
  • Manage and facilitate the planning and allocation of headcount, including the change and communication process for headcount targets.
  • Provide inputs and advice to the leadership team on key issues (e.g. strategic initiatives, business priorities and major investments) based on clear issue framing, systems-level thinking and rigorous analysis.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce planning strategies and adjust as necessary.
  • Partner with the People team and other stakeholders to ensure that workforce planning strategies are aligned with broader talent management initiatives.
  • Manage the People-related budget setting/review process, including creation and monitoring of the budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to workforce planning and analytics.

 

People Projects scope:

  • Owns the People Project Portfolio (intake, prioritization, execution, monitoring and control).
  • Leads and manages the People Project teams, runs the program board
  • Informs and leads our digitalization journey, identifies opportunities and leading practices by synthesizing: I. Internal business performance and competencies. II. External trends (market, customer, competitor, regulatory, technological etc)
  • Partner with the People Tech team, and global CoEs, to implement process and data requirements across Europe and APAC systems (i.e. Workday) and its integrations.
  • Lead the design and implementation of the target People Operating Model across Europe & APAC, including a shared services center, its associated roles, processes, and technology.
  • Lead and drive the change management strategies supporting transformations across markets

 

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in, workforce planning and/or financial planning & analytics; 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong integration- and systems thinking
  • Solid experience in budget planning processes and integration with finance processes
  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Data Studio) and HRIS systems
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, and financial reporting
  • Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects and portfolios
  • Experience in HR systems projects, consulting/change management, people strategy, organizational design
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving techniques, and creative thinking abilities in fast-paced and dynamic environments
