About the opportunity
The Strategy and Planning team supports the leadership team to define our strategy and works collaboratively with regional functions and local markets to identify growth opportunities. Reporting into The Chief International Office (CIO) this role plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives across. This role will support the CIO by providing strategic and competitive insights in response to business needs and investment decisions. It is a role that requires a combination of deep strategic expertise, curiosity, and grit with excellent judgment and discretion.
Your Mission:
- Analyze key business questions with frameworks, customer insights, and data to craft concrete recommendations and unlock growth opportunities
- Synthesize large sets of data and insights to develop global perspectives on key business priorities and inform marketing strategy
- Lead the development and maintenance of regular reports and dashboards
- Connect global & local efforts by aligning local, regional and global visions and identifying findings from teams to advise growth strategies
- Build and support global processes around cyclical business planning, roadmaps, and OKR setting and prioritization
- Proactively identify and lead strategic initiatives with the cross functional teams to optimize day-to-day marketing operations and improve business impact
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives working closely with regional & central marketing, performance marketing, finance, product, and operations teams
- Gain leadership alignment on recommendations and influence decisions to drive implementation
- Be a thought partner to leadership to support the growth of Delivery hero
What you need to be successful
Your Heroic Skills:
Experience: 7+ years of experience in strategy, planning, or management consulting. Experience in a fast-paced, international environment is highly desirable
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term and short-term strategic plans to achieve company goals.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct industry and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Advanced P&L, SQL/Google Sheets proficiency
- Business Performance Evaluation: Analyze financial and operational performance, providing data-driven insights for decision-making and be able to analyze large amounts of data, synthesize complex ideas, and extract the relevant information
- Project Management: Lead strategic initiatives, able to manage several projects at the same time and ensure timely execution and alignment with business priorities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, finance, operations, and other teams to align strategies across departments.
- KPI Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success and identify improvement areas.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Report Generation: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting findings, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify new business opportunities, process improvements, and efficiency enhancements
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences including Clevel
