We are looking for a Fleet Operations Area Lead to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Fleet Operations Manager, Fleet Area Managers, 3PL partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing fleet operations, coordinating with third-party logistics providers, and resolving real-time challenges in various locations. This is a flexible full-time role that may require irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. It also demands frequent travel to areas of interest. To succeed, you should have strong time management skills, business acumen, regulatory knowledge, and exceptional communication skills—both upwards to management and downwards to operational teams. Most importantly, the role requires adaptability, stress management, and the ability to stay in control under pressure.
What you‘ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field
2-3 years of experience in logistics operations
Excellent (written and verbal) communication skills (greek & english language) and presentation skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

What you need to be successful
Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
Actively participating in recruiting (in cooperation with RR) and collaborating with warehouse and training teams for on-time training and equipment issues of 3PL riders.
Performing regular site visits to assess the condition of zones in terms of operational and behavioral aspects, and meet with 3PL managers, and riders.
Implementing and tracking KPIs to optimize processes and improve performance.
Conducting market research to monitor competition and identify opportunities for improvement.
Driving operational excellence by proactively resolving issues and streamlining workflows.
Ensuring financial excellence by managing costs and optimizing resource allocation.
Communicating effectively with providers, teams, and stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain alignment.
Adapting quickly to changes in demand, regulations, and market conditions to sustain business growth.
Evaluating & fine-tuning contracts' terms to meet operational and financial goals.
