About the opportunity

We're on the hunt for a bold, creative communications pro who brings a fresh, edgy approach to storytelling. Someone who doesn’t just lead with confidence, but thrives in high-stakes situations and knows how to make a brand voice pop at every turn. 


The ideal candidate is both strategic and inventive—able to unify talabat’s tone of voice across all business, while bringing our authentic brand across. He/She will be responsible for crafting a messaging that reinforces talabat’s fun and relatable brand identity, telling our story to the world like it has never been told before.

 

  • Craft and execute Talabat's communication strategy throughout the MENA region.

  • Collaborate with top-level management and stakeholders to align communication strategies with the company's business goals. 

  • Take the reins of our regional communications team, offering strategic direction, and fostering team growth. 

  • Drive the creation of communication assets and content to achieve local market objectives.

  • Collaborate closely with talabat's brand and marketing teams for a consistent brand voice across all channels. 

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance of all communication materials with relevant regulations through collaboration with talabat's legal team. 

  • Play a pivotal role in crisis communications, providing strategic direction and content.

  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of communication campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for enhancement.


What you need to be successful

  • Solid track record of leading communications in multiple markets. Experience in the MENA region is advantageous.

  • Proven ability in creating fresh and out-of-the-box communication campaigns that resonate with our young customer base. 

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams across talabat markets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Arabic is a plus. 

  • Experience in crisis management and issues management.

  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, or a related field.
