Director, Logistics

We are on the lookout for a Director of Logistics to join the Logistics team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. 

• As Director, of Logistics, you will be responsible for both the operational management of the logistics department and complex optimization projects to support further growth.
• In addition, you will work closely with the country Management and functional stakeholders to develop logistics strategies.
• You will take ownership of the logistics budget, with a particular focus on unit economics.
• Together with your team, you will continuously improve performance, by balancing the needs of our customers, riders, restaurant partners, and technical requirements.
• You understand the needs and manage different stakeholders (employees, riders, political stakeholders, etc.), manage competing priorities, and deliver solutions that fit to all parties.
• You will further develop our existing logistics team by fostering and challenging them to create an outstanding work environment.
• With your strong leadership skills, you will help your team grow beyond their limits and overcome emerging challenges.

• Graduate from a top institution with an outstanding degree in business, economics or engineering.
• 10-15 years of Solid track record in Operations Management.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, operational excellence, and/or a consulting background.
• Excellent analytical skills, combined with a hands-on approach and a natural ability to connect with stakeholders.
• The ability to think outside the box, develop innovative solutions, set clear priorities, focus on your team, and achieve excellent results.
• You thrive under pressure and see every change as an opportunity.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to inspire and motivate diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
