About the opportunity
In the Journey You Will:
Lead the team of specialised employment lawyers who are redefining Glovo’s operating model in Spain, and oversee our HR operations in Yellow Park.
Impact business operations and product with effective and out of the box advice.
Manage and coordinate litigation, investigations, and disputes, working with external counsel when needed.
Anticipate risks and recommend solutions to our management, including Public Affairs and settlement strategies.
Oversee strategic engagement with Works Councils and Unions to foster constructive social dialogue.
Builds strong relationships with executive and functional heads at Glovo, while working closely with and reporting to our parent entity.
What you will bring to the ride:
You are a Spanish qualified employment lawyer, with strong litigation experience, and 10 PQE, ideally combining experience in a reputable law firm, and advising tech companies.
You have led high performing teams, and are able to build strong relationships with your team, executives and functional leads through credibility and mutual respect.
You have excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish; you have mastered executive communication and are able to simplify complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
You have a hands-on approach to work and are always ready to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
Your advice is pragmatic and impactful, and you are able to balance legal risk with business opportunity.
