Delivery Hero is looking for a CRM Email Developer (all genders) to join our Central Retentions Solutions team.
As an Email Developer in the Retention Solutions team, your core responsibility will be to develop visually appealing, responsive HTML email and in-app message templates, utilizing advanced liquid personalization techniques to ensure each message is tailored and relevant to its recipient.
You'll work in close collaboration with our CRM and local design teams, developing template solutions in Braze and leveraging our suite of internal automation tools—including the Automated Braze Messaging System (ABMS), Global Template System (GTS), and Dynamic Content APIs—to ensure our email campaigns are not only engaging but also seamlessly delivered to our target audience across various devices and platforms.
This role demands a keen eye for design, technical know-how in sophisticated email development, and a creative approach to integrating dynamic content and personalization at scale.
Email Template Development: Develop template solutions for emails and in-app messages in Braze and utilizing the Global Template System (GTS) creating consistent and visually appealing templates that align with our brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
HTML/CSS Coding: Craft responsive HTML email templates that are compatible across various email clients and devices, integrating interactive elements, API connections and leveraging our internal automation tools for enhanced functionality.
Optimization & Personalization: Employ advanced personalization techniques using Liquid and JavaScript leveraging our internal automation tools, including the Automated Braze Messaging System (ABMS) and Dynamic Content APIs, to optimize emails for conversion and engagement.
Content Integration: Collaborate with the regional marketing team to integrate text, images, and multimedia into emails, using GTS for design efficiency and ABMS for message automation.
A/B Testing: Use insights from ABMS to conduct A/B testing of email templates, aiming to enhance performance and engagement.
Testing and Troubleshooting: Ensure the seamless rendering of email templates across all platforms, utilizing our comprehensive suite of internal tools for testing and optimization.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze email campaign performance with the help of our internal analytics, including insights from Dynamic Content and ABMS, to drive continuous improvement.
Proven Email HTML Developer experience.
Experience with email automation and personalization tools (e.g., Liquid, AmpScript).
Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., Braze, Marketing Cloud).
Excellent English communication skills
Understanding of email marketing best practices, including spam compliance.
Attention to detail and design aesthetics.
Agile mindset, able to handle ambiguity and swift project delivery.
Nice To Have:
Knowledge of CRM strategies and customer communication.
Worked with Braze.
Experience with A/B testing and performance analysis.
Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite).
Familiarity with JavaScript or AppScrip for CRM automation.
Familiarity with Liquid or any template language.
Experience with the mobile user life cycle, retention strategies, and customer experience best practices.
Capacity of formulating and tracking OKRs.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) for email design.
Knowledge of sprints and prioritization frameworks.
Excellent English communication skills.
Experience in international, cross-functional teams.
