About the opportunity
We are on the lookout for an Intern, Software Engineer, Frontend - (JavaScript/React) to join the Consumer Insight and Marketing Tech on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
At Delivery Hero, you’ll shape the global consumer experience for millions of users. Your work will have a direct impact on how we attract and retain customers, creating data-driven, personalized interactions that keep them coming back. As part of our Consumer Team, you’ll enhance customer satisfaction and drive global growth and profitability through innovative projects.
In this role you will:
contribute to building user-friendly, scalable web applications that enhance our platform’s capabilities. If you are excited about learning new technologies, working on meaningful projects, and collaborating with a diverse, talented team, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of software development.
Contribute to the development of modern web applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring functionality and scalability.
Assist in implementing efficient and reusable frontend components.
Collaborate with experienced engineers to enhance user experience and application performance.
Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting efforts to maintain code quality and stability.
What you need to be successful
Completed or Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
A solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with React
Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 with a focus on building clean, responsive interfaces.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Eagerness to learn modern frontend technologies and performance optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with TypeScript or unit testing frameworks like Jest.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with web accessibility standards and practices.
Hands-on experience with tools like Webpack or Babel.
