About the opportunity

 

Role Summary/ Overview:
The role will require you to build fun, relevant and engaging content on the social platforms
which will tie into
building the brand in full alignment with talabat brand strategy.
Additionally, use social media to also support business objectives such as: New acquisitions,
monthly active users, and daily orders. As a specialist, you will own and implement social as
well as brand and tactical marketing plans in a fast-paced environment.

As an individual, you'll need to be flexible, able to work to tight deadlines and be willing to be
hands-on to get the job done. You must showcase demonstrable experience of increasing
social media engagement, creating relevant and outstanding content, while all these efforts are
supporting the overall business and marketing objectives.


What’s On Your Plate?


● Create and manage the social media calendar.
● Manage presence on core channels including Instagram, Facebook, Snap
Chat, Twitter, and other similar community sites, in line with marketing and key
messages for all channels.
● As a content coordinator, you will create an overall content for all local marketing campaigns
for social media.
● Create engaging and relevant social media content: videos or series of videos,
managing social media influencers (micro and macro), content for day-to-day
campaigns and engagement.
● Liaise with cross functional teams such as sales, logistics, PR, customer care to create
and share content, on advancing our Own & Paid Media platforms.
● Create and manage social media advertisements effectively. That is, promote social
media posts to the right audience. Work closely with regional digital teams for
effective advertising, and tracking the performance of our Paid media campaigns.
● Importantly, stay on top of social media trends and participate in relevant trends immediately

 


What you need to be successful

What Did We Order?


● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field (or equivalent
work experience)
● 0–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital
marketing (internships count)
● Familiarity with major platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and
YouTube
● understanding of social media trends, engagement tactics, and platform-specific best
practices
● Knowledge on using social media scheduling tools
● Basic copywriting and editing skills for captions
● Experience or interest in short-form video, graphic design, or photography is a plus
● Competent with tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial
● Ability to track performance using tools like Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, or
Google Analytics
● Familiarity with influencer outreach or UGC (user-generated content) coordination
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage content calendars
● Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
● Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (e.g., design, sales, product)
● Good written and verbal communication skills
