We’re looking for a Category Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a sharp commercial instinct to every decision. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our product offering—balancing data, diving deep into market insights, and supplier relationships to build a category mix that not only performs but delights. What you 'll do:
- Manage Product Category Mix (Evaluates, Manages Changes)
- Monitor & ensure adherence to Pricing Policy
- Manage Product Category Promotional Plan (plan, negotiate & secure agreements with suppliers, evaluate, communicate with suppliers regarding performance)
- Participate in manage corrective actions for high inventory levels
- Participate in monitoring product category targets (Sales, Profitability) and in managing corrective actions
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers & "close" commercial Agreements
- Monitor competition & market trends at the product category level.
- Participate in defining the annual category strategy.
- Evaluate and create new consumption destinations/occasions.
What you need to be successful
- 3 years of prior experience as a Category Manager or Buyer (Ideally on a Food Retailer)
- University Graduate in Economics or a Science-related field
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English
- Ability to negotiate and create collaborations with a long-term plan
- Focus on achieving qualitative and quantitative goals
