Barista

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverage products according to Everyday Roastery’s standards. In a cloud kitchen setting, the role emphasizes speed, consistency, and quality control for beverages that are packaged for delivery or pickup. This position requires precision, efficiency, and attention to detail with minimal face-to-face service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, cold brews, manual brews, and signature beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.

• Operate and maintain coffee machines (e.g., espresso machine, grinder, batch brewers, and milk frothers) and other barista tools.

• Execute drink orders swiftly and accurately, ensuring proper packaging and labeling for takeaway and delivery platforms.

• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation for all beverage items.

• Monitor and restock barista station inventory, reporting low stock or equipment issues to the supervisor.

• Follow Dubai Municipality food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the barista prep area throughout each shift.

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and dispatch team to ensure smooth and timely order processing.

• Assist with inventory counts and quality checks as required.

Minimum 1 year of barista experience, preferably in a specialty coffee or high-volume environment.

Understanding of specialty coffee, extraction techniques, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.

Experience in takeaway or cloud kitchen operations is a strong plus.

Knowledge of delivery platforms and kitchen display systems is an advantage.

Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Food Handler's Certificate from Dubai Municipality (or willing to obtain).

Flexible with shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
