About the opportunity

We are on the lookout for an Associate Product Analyst - Logistics (all genders) to join the Logistics Analytics Team, on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

In Logistics, we build products and shape processes towards an amazing delivery experience for our customers, riders, and service. In the Analytics team, we curate data to uncover insights, enable self-service discovery, and drivethe  strategic development of Logistics functions. Being embedded in the Product Line, we foster the “data-first” mindset and drive change in product development.

As an Associate Product Analyst, you will bring insights for one or more domains, collaborate with a team of about 5-10 analysts, drive projects across various data functions, collaborate with Data Science and enable our stakeholders in Product, Tech, and Operations to make data-driven decisions.

 

  • Engaging with key stakeholders to understand the business vision, requirements & priorities and helping to translate this into actionable insights

  • Build accessible, creative and engaging data visualizations to facilitate access to insights

  • Develop and curate unstructured data in collaboration with Data Engineering, Product and Operations

  • Refine, challenge and support requests from stakeholders and generate new data analyses

  • Lead data exploration projects, and help identify and define future insight and data needs to support various business initiatives

  • Own our data catalog for all Logistics dimensions, metrics and KPIs

 

In our Logistics Team, you’ll tackle high-impact challenges that make last-mile delivery efficient, affordable, and sustainable. Your work will directly improve experiences for riders, end customers, and merchants across the globe. Each enhancement you contribute will help Delivery Hero optimize delivery operations, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.


What you need to be successful

  • 2-3 years experience as a BI/Data/Product analyst working for internet companies

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative subject (e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, statistics)

  • Excellent SQL skills, with practical experience of big data tools (ideally BigQuery)

  • Basic Python skills, with practical experience

  • You are creative in data visualization (Tableau experience is a plus)

  • Proven team player behavior and process-oriented mindset

  • Independent and rigorous working style, appreciation for Agile environments

  • Experience in dealing with stakeholders and challenging the scope of projects

 

Nice to have: 

  • Intermediate Python skills, with practical experience

  • Experience with version control systems (VCS) (e.g. Github)

  • Experience with Airflow

  • Experience with A/B testings and applied statistics

  • Experience with using data lakes / data marts
